Fitness Level 3
Students are required to practically participate in regular physical activity and training sessions. They will understand how this
influences their own well-being and the well-being of others. Students challenge themselves to
develop their physical fitness and compete in the Tough Guy and Gal Challenge.
The skills taught in FIT3 class improve students’ physical performance, develop their knowledge of muscles during weight training, improve communication and allows students an opportunity to instruct others in a physical setting.
Please note that because 1 out of 4 standards in PED3 and FIT3 are the same, taiohi are not able to choose both PED3 and FIT3 together. They must choose one or the other.
