Chemistry Level 2

CHM201
Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Mrs Scoggins

Chemistry 201

This is an academic course aimed at those students who are thinking of taking some form of Science study at tertiary level. You will learn about the material universe in more detail. In particular you will gain a greater appreciation of the structure of the atom and how the structure of substances determines their behaviour. You will learn how to carry out certain types of analysis, to describe and predict chemical reactivity, to understand the energy producing reactions that power the world and to recognise and know something about some of the many organic compounds that exist.
