Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the New Zealand Wars - Discover and explore pre-treaty views, the key events leading up to the Te Tiriti, the two versions and its consequences.
Term 2
Local Issues - Explore Issues, Differing Perspectives, how an issue affects people and the land and how we can solve these issues.
Term 3
Kiwi’s at War - The 28th Battalion - Explore some aspects of the experiences of the 28th Māori Battalion.
Term 4
Innovations - Explore how opportunities can enrich or damage lives, challenge views about needs and wants. Explore innovation and enterprise, how individuals, communities, and societies create new opportunities.
Courses outlined will only be available if sufficient students wish to take them AND appropriate staff are available to teach them.
Courses that do not run may be offered through distance learning and be supported by the Distance Learning Department.
