L2 Accounting
Accounting enables students to understand the processes involved in recording, classifying, analysing and interpreting financial information. The programme aims are to:
introduce basic accounting principles for entities
develop students knowledge of cash and finance management for entities
understand the accounting process for entities
prepare financial statements for entities
Topics covered include:
Accounting concepts for an entity
Preparing financial information for an entity that operates accounting subsystems
Accounts Receivable subsystems used by entities
Inventory subsystems used by entities
Understanding of contemporary accounting issue for decision-making
Recommended Prior Learning

Assessment Information
Throughout the year, content for all 5 standards will be covered, however students will be able to select the standards which best suits their learning needs through discussion with their accounting teacher and e-Dean.Disclaimer
