Course Description

Trades Level 2
This would be an individual or class negotiated course and use unit standards from BCITO, Computenz, MITO, Fairview motors, Wintec. It could cover a small amount of credits covering a range of areas and focus students who are interested in pursuing a career in a Trade. Trade related math's in also included in this course.
Standards will be based on the class and student interest, 12-18 credits over a range of subject areas in furniture making, engineering, automotive will be covered.

Recommended Prior Learning
A good level of safety is required.
Completed a mechanics or furniture/wood HIP or Kete class in year 9 or 10 would be an advantage

Initially $65 for Materials plus additional costs dependent on the project made.
