Mechanical Engineering Level 1

A workshop course with the emphasis on practical skills leading to greater knowledge and understanding of Mechanical Engineering systems and implementations. Credits are obtained by a combination of theory and practical based assessment provided through Competenz, as well as NCEA achievement standards. Successful projects in the past have included a gravity powered vehicle or drift trike, which when completed, student have a choice to make a project of their choice.


Recommended Prior Learning


Successful completion of a year 10 Technology course or by approval of the HOD.
