Course Description

L1 Korean
Students will use the skills they gain in guided drill exercises in a larger communicative project (e.g., skit, presentation) for a more personalised and creative language-learning experience. Although primary emphasis is on the development of the four language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing), the course will also cover distinctive aspects of contemporary Korean culture that are both interesting and relevant to learners, regardless of cultural background.
By the end of the course, students who successfully complete the course should be able to
Engage in face-to-face conversations on broader topics of daily life
Comprehend simple Korean texts and write on broader topics based on their personal experiences
Learn more about Korean culture and lifestyle
