Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Mrs D. Sawyer

L1 Korean

Students will use the skills they gain in guided drill exercises in a larger communicative project (e.g., skit, presentation) for a more personalised and creative language-learning experience. Although primary emphasis is on the development of the four language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing), the course will also cover distinctive aspects of contemporary Korean culture that are both interesting and relevant to learners, regardless of cultural background.

By the end of the course, students who successfully complete the course should be able to

  • Engage in face-to-face conversations on broader topics of daily life
