English Level 1
This course covers a variety of English skills and texts. It creates a pathway for those students who wish to take English on to Level 3. Students are expected to enter for the two external standards and then a selection of at least three internal standards in negotiation with their class teacher.

Recommendation of the class teacher and HOD. Students in this course will be working at the top of Level 5 (5A) or Level 6 on the NZ Curriculum in English.
