Cross Curricula Studies - PE/Outdoor Pursuits (CCLP201)

The Cross Curricula Studies course is a continuation of Adventure Studies 101 and is open to all students by application. This course will cover three of your subject line choices and will include a combination of English, Outdoor Education/PE, Te Ao Maori/Tikanga, and practical skills to prepare you for the workforce or future study. The aim of this course is to create confident, engaged students who are enthusiastic about gaining NCEA Level Two. 

This course is the Life Skills and Work component of the course.

To do this course you also MUST take the English (CCLE201) and PE/Outdoor Pursuits (CCLP201) components.

Contributions and Equipment/Stationery

Part of the course will be camps, trips out and events that will be discussed with parents and students prior to committing to the class.

Recommended Prior Learning

Preference will be given to students that have completed Adventure Studies in 2019. The course is open to all students in Year 12.


Courses outlined will only be available in 2020 if sufficient students wish to take them AND appropriate staff are available to teach them. Courses that do not run may be offered through distance learning and be supported by the Distance Learning Department.
